Protection Against Limescale and Legionella
A key concern with water is the presence of Legionella bacteria and the associated water temperature. Especially in stagnant, lukewarm water between 25 and 40 degrees Celsius, this bacteria can multiply rapidly. At temperatures above 55 degrees Celsius, however, Legionella bacteria die off, and this process occurs even faster at higher temperatures. Copper pipes naturally have antibacterial properties, but these are lost due to limescale buildup. While the Calconditioner does not kill Legionella bacteria, it offers an environmentally friendly and highly effective preventive solution against the formation of biofilm and limescale deposits.

How It Works
The Calconditioner operates based on the induction of modulated electromagnetic waves (EM), which are transferred to the water pipe via short induction cables to influence the standing or flowing water. The device itself does not come into contact with the water. The EM signals spread through the water and physically alter the structure of the mineral salts present. This results in small, powdery crystals that do not adhere to pipes and walls. This method is highly effective, and the chemical composition of the water remains virtually unchanged. Existing limescale deposits are also gradually broken down.
The installation can be carried out independently without downtime.
Installation
The Calconditioner can be installed at any desired location in the water pipe. It is not necessary to take the system out of service, meaning there are no installation costs, no downtime, and quick commissioning. The installation does not require special skills and can be easily done in-house.
